On 12th May 2022 during their Design and Technology lesson some of our Year 7 students looked at the importance of accurate weighing and measuring. The students will be making cupcakes shortly and in preparation they weighed out the necessary ingredients. Students learned how to use the digital scales accurately to weigh out margarine, flour, baking powder and sugar. Learning how to weigh and measure ingredients correctly is a fundamental skill in cooking and a great way for students to practise their Maths skills.
