Springfield welcomed twenty two apprentices from the local area to school today.  They arrived in the 'Apprenticeship Bus' to talk to a large group of Year 10 and Year 11 pupils about how to to apply for apprenticeships, what the pay and conditions are like and the extensive range and level of apprenticeships available. There were apprentices from the Royal Navy, BAE Systems, Biscoes Law, New Theatre Royal, IBM, Portsmouth News, Portsmouth City Council, engineering firms and more!  All the pupils embraced this opportunity to 'speed date' and talk to apprentices from many different career paths and consider their next steps for the future.
