Grateful thanks goes to Portsmouth College for their support on Thursday evening to our Year 11 pupils helping them to prepare for success in the forthcoming mock exams. The event was a mixture of live support online led by Dan Franklin (Head of Admissions) supported by other Heads of Department from the College.

There were a series of pre-recorded clips giving top tips for exam success ranging from the Principal, Simon Barrable to ex Springfield pupils who had their own tips and recommendations. Around 80 pupils signed up for the event and were able to take part in a way that suited them as they continue to build up towards their next set of challenges. There were also live presentations about specific revision techniques and time for them to ask questions about the next steps towards admissions following on from post 16 provider visits in September. The pupils really appreciated the bespoke event designed to help them succeed. For those who could not attend the event was recorded and will be stored on their school Year PDL Google Classroom (for more detail please click the link below).
