Year 8 pupils have been creating tunes and accompaniments of some famous songs using Chrome Music Lab in their online Music lessons.  After being set the challenge to recreate the theme of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight', several pupils went a step further and were inspired to make versions of other well known pieces. A year group survey was carried out to find out which versions pupils liked best. 

 

The winning favourites were:

Emmanuel (8P), with runners up Harvey (8E) and Lisa (8)E for their African songs and Freya (8F) who recreated the 'Stranger Things' theme, and runner up Josh (8G), who did a version of 'Bad Guy.'

 

Well done for some great tunes! Although you can't hear them unfortunately, here are some screenshots of the winning work!
