We were delighted to welcome Royal Navy chefs Jamie and Josh to Springfield today. Some of our Year 10 pupils took part in the 'Ready Steady Cook' challenge - they had an hour to produce a two course meal with specific ingredients (including chicken, potato, onion and fruit).
Jamie and Josh observed the pupils offering them expert advice. Pupils worked quietly and efficiently producing some great dishes including omelette, meringue nests, fruit pancakes stuffed chicken breast and hasselback potatoes. Well done Year 10s you worked well under pressure!
