Springfield School may be 'closed' today, but our pupils certainly aren't down hearted!  Well done to the pupils working independently at home and also to those who were on site working today as part of the on-site provision which includes emergency/key workers' children.  It's certainly been quieter than normal (well, apart from the drilling, banging and blasting of the builders working on the outside of A-Block!) and we miss having everyone going about their usual activity.  That being said, we've managed to get a lot of learning done as you can see from the photos; and staff are reporting being inundated by work and questions from the pupils working on Google Classrooms at home. Well done everyone - keep up the hard work!  By the way, have you spotted the latest pupil to have joined our school?  Although technically Bonnie is a bit too young even to join Year 7, she's been spending some time among the staff and pupils to see if she is up to the task of becoming a therapy dog in the future. She is rather cute and playful and so we hope that she makes the grade.  Take care everyone.
