Please note the information regarding 'Returning travellers' if you have travelled or plan to travel abroad.

We would ask all families to update the school if, having taken the appropriate advice from the NHS, there are any concerns regarding their child's health.  Please would parents of any pupils who are advised to self-isolate for any reason contact Mrs Evans in the Welfare Office to update the school on their child's situation before their child returns to school.

The DfE has a helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline:

Phone: 0800 046 8687
Email: DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

The school has been inundated with general queries regarding COVID-19.  We would politely ask that families refer to the information and links published on our website for related information; please only telephone the school if you need to discuss a specific Coronavirus concern regarding your child's health, having taken appropriate advice from the NHS.

Please would parents/carers continue to encourage their children to:

-wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

-use hand sanitiser gel (if soap and water are not available)

-cover their mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not hands) when they cough or sneeze

-place used tissues in the bin immediately and wash hands afterwards

-try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

  • -(at school) report any concerns regarding hand washing facilities e.g. if soap runs out to Reception or Estate staff immediately
