On Monday 25th February 2019 Test Administrators from the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) visited Springfield School. The purpose of their visit was to ask a random selection of sixty Year 11 pupils to take an anonymised test. The test is an annual, national one to establish a baseline moderation for the upcoming summer examination series.
The lives of children and young people worldwide are inextricably linked to the amount and quality of education they receive. At NFER, their mission is to improve outcomes for future generations everywhere and to support positive change across education systems. They do this by creating and sharing research evidence and insights on education policy and practice, informing policymakers and other key decision makers, and strengthening practice in the classroom.
Thank you to Mrs Millar, Examinations Officer for ensuring the arrangements ran smoothly and well done to the Springfield pupils involved. The test administrators praised pupils saying “It was a pleasure to visit the school and we were extremely impressed with the behaviour and attitude of your students.”
