Over the last few weeks the Geography Club have been working on creating their own model volcanoes. Pupils began by constructing their volcano structures using examples from around the world, then painted them to add realistic details. They finished by conducting experiments to simulate volcanic eruptions. This provided an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge from earlier in the year, when they studied tectonic hazards, in a practical and creative way.
