On Thursday, 15 January, a group of Year 10 students from Springfield had the opportunity to broaden their horizons by attending the Get Inspired Careers Fayre at the Guildhall. Organised by EBP South, this event provided a platform for students to engage with a diverse array of businesses and organizations, gaining valuable insights into potential career paths.
The fair featured a wide range of stalls from notable entities such as the Police, Comserv, Border Force, several construction companies, the Mary Rose Museum, Biscoes Solicitors, Southern Water, and the Southsea Coastal Scheme. Each stall offered students a glimpse into different industries, allowing them to explore a variety of career options in a hands-on environment.
Attending events like the Get Inspired Careers Fayre is immensely beneficial for Year 10 students. By interacting with professionals from various fields, students gained a better understanding of the job market and the skills required for different roles.
