On Monday, 08 December, we had an amazing opportunity to learn about space from Ed Gentle from the National Space Agency. It was very interactive and everyone had a chance to be involved. The activities included making a telescope out of two lenses and working out how far the Voyager travelled. Ed was very helpful and explained everything in a way so that everyone could understand. To end, someone got to wear a cosmonaut suit that had been in space and we got to see and touch rocks from Mars, the Moon and an ancient space rock that has been around since the very beginning of the solar system! Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational experience that was enjoyed by everyone involved.  Thank you to Ed for visiting the school and running these engaging and interactive sessions.
