Some of our talented Year 7, 8 and 9 students have spent the past few weeks filling Music Room 1 with festive cheer, as they learned a selection of Christmas carols under the guidance of Miss Groucott.

On Monday, 08 December, they had the wonderful opportunity to visit the residents of Dreton Lodge for a special carol-singing performance, and it was very well received.

The experience helped students build confidence, develop their musicality, and make a meaningful, positive impact within our local community.

A truly heart-warming way to begin the Christmas festivities!

We were delighted to hear from a Dreton Lodge resident who said "I would like to convey my appreciation of the carol concert some of your pupils treated myself and neighbours to this afternoon.  The young people gave a friendly and spirited performance of a range of Christmas songs. They are a credit to themselves and your school."
