As always our annual awards evening was a memorable event, hosted by Ms Spivey (Headteacher), Miss Hawkins (Head of Achievement for Year 11 - 2024/25) and Mr Cufley (Chair of Governors). The event took place on Thursday, 20 November, as we gathered to celebrate the achievements of our 2025 leavers.
The evening commenced with a fantastic piano rendition by Tim Lehota. Tim played ABBA's Super Trouper which set the tone for a night of celebration and recognition. Winners were then presented with an impressive array of awards, trophies and certificates, generously sponsored by a variety of local organisations.
We were also thrilled to honour two colleagues who have provided exceptional contribution to the school and trust over the years. Their dedication and commitment have left a lasting impact on our community.
Our Guest of Honour this year was our very own Mr Wilburn, Deputy Headteacher. Mr Wilburn delivered an inspiring speech to our 2025 leavers. Following his Atlantic rowing experience Mr Wilburn challenged the audience to 'get out of their comfort zones' and to always remember that 'small steps can lead to BIG actions'.
Adding to the celebrations, some of our 2025 Senior Prefect Team shared an upbeat speech reflecting on their time at Springfield. They reminisced about their experiences, bringing smiles and laughter to the audience.
A special thank you to Mr Wilburn for joining our celebrations and inspiring us with his words. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors for their generous support, which made this event possible.
Together, we celebrated the past, present, and future achievements of our Springfield community.
