A group of Year 10 pupils spoke with very wide range of employers and apprenticeship providers at Portsmouth City Council's annual Careers and Apprenticeships Show on Wednesday, 24 September. Exhibitors included Solent Sky Services, South West Rail, PGL, Carnival UK, the Royal Navy, Biscoes Law, HaHa Hairdressing, Pets at Home and Portsmouth Aviation. The event was beneficial for pupils as they were able to find out about apprenticeships that are available both at post-16 and post-18 level, as well as the world of work in general. Springfield pupils enjoyed talking to the professionals, participating in activities and picking up plenty of freebies!
