During the weekend of 25 to 27 April, some of our Year 11 students basked in the glorious sunshine as they embarked on an unforgettable trial run for their Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition assessment. The warm rays of the sun not only illuminated their path but also fueled their spirits, making the experience all the more enriching and memorable.

The trial run was a crucial stepping stone, allowing them to hone their skills and build confidence ahead of their upcoming assessment. With determination and a sense of camaraderie, they navigated the challenges of the practice expedition, demonstrating resilience and teamwork.

Once their GCSE exams are behind them, they will set out on the actual assessment across the breathtaking landscapes of the South Downs. This picturesque setting will provide the perfect backdrop for them to showcase the skills they have developed and the tenacity they possess.
