On Wednesday, 26 March, some of our Year 11 Maths students were visited by Katherine Taylor from City of Portsmouth College. Katherine invited them to consider the various Maths options available at A level.  Katherine then taught the class factor theorem and polynomial division, building on methods they currently use for factorising and solving quadratic equations.  We were delighted to welcome back former student, Matthew Bennett, who is currently studying A Level Maths at the college, Matthew supported Katherine with this engaging session. Students interacted brilliantly during this session which will enhance their problem-solving skills and lay a solid foundation for advanced studies in maths and related fields.
