Springfield's 'Made In Portsmouth' competition teams dedicated many weeks to meticulously planning their projects while at school. They were fortunate to receive guidance from staff members of Gunwharf and Lansec, who visited to assist with their presentations.

On 05 March, the teams returned to the Gunwharf Quays Management Suites to present their innovative ideas to a panel of five judges. Each Springfield team performed admirably and received positive feedback. After the presentations, the judges deliberated extensively, leaving the students in a state of anticipation. Finally, the judges returned to announce the winner, and we are thrilled to reveal that a Springfield School team, 'Pines and Needles,' came first! The judges praised the team for their exceptional leadership skills, thorough research, and confident pitch delivery. Each team member should be incredibly proud of their performance. Congratulations, 'Pines and Needles'! We are now eagerly preparing for the final round of the competition, which will be held in London.

The 'Pines and Needles' Team Members: Lulia Stancu (10N), Cora Jepson (10D), Lucy King (10D), Riya Babu (10G) and Ishita Kakarla (10P)

This achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Well done, team!
