We are delighted to announce that the girls' football team are through to the semi-finals of the Hamshire Cup! A solid 4-2 win on Monday, 03 February started strong at 3-0 up at half-time with an early goal from Sophie Jelliff (8E). The opposition came out fighting after the break, scoring early but Eleanor Donachie quickly responded with a cracker of a shot just one minute later.
Some great shots, and big praise to Beth Jelliff (8L) for some fantastic saves at the other end. Solid defensive work from Amy Fletcher-Kilby (8D), Lilly Greenway (8D), and Hadassah-Ombi Wandia (9D) kept things tight at the back.
Goals from Sophie Jelliff, Molly Heazelton (8S), Ava-Grace Mo (8E), and Eleanor Donachie (9N) sealed the win. Now onto the semi-finals against Porchester! Let’s keep this momentum going! Well done to you all.
