On Thursday, 30 January we had the pleasure of welcoming a film crew to Springfield to interview pupils and staff about their experiences using DocsPlus (a literacy software specifically designed for pupils by Crick Software). The film crew are producing a film on behalf of Crick Software in conjunction with their involvement in Portsmouth: The Digital City Project.  Crick Software are an education software company who create literacy software for pupils of all abilities, with a strong focus on improving writing outcomes and helping all learners to experience success.  Our young people did an amazing job, making us incredibly proud with their eloquent responses, deep knowledge, and thoughtful feedback on the software.

For many, it was their first time in front of a camera, and they showed incredible courage and confidence as they stepped into the spotlight! Not only did they showcase their appreciation for DocsPlus, but they also had the unique opportunity to engage with a range of industry professionals — including camera operators, marketing experts, software developers, and project leaders.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience, gaining valuable insights into the world of film making and technology. A huge well done to everyone involved!
