Year 7 is feeling the Christmas cheer this week. Classes are performing their own pantomimes in Drama lessons with loads of slapstick, cheesy jokes, fabulous costumes and a bucket load of audience participation. It has been LOUD but has been a fantastic end to their first term at Springfield.

100 students also headed off to see Jack and the Beanstalk at The Mayflower. Despite some challenges getting to the theatre, everyone had a fantastic evening as the show was stunning. Featuring Ashley Banjo and Diversity, the dancing was phenomenal. The production was stunning with the highlights being a huge puppet of the giant, spectacular lighting and an enormous beanstalk that grew for Jack to climb. There were some outstanding performances with the audience's favourite definitely being Simple Simon who displayed great comic timing and some questionable outfits!

All the Drama staff wish the pupils and their families and very Merry Christmas!
