Springfield School's employer of the month for December is the British Army. On Monday, 9 December some of our Year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity of hearing from the Army Air Corp, the Infantry and the Royal Artillery. The event commenced with presentations given by four different soldiers about some of the career routes available. After that, the visitors ran a careers fair that gave pupils the chance to ask individual questions, try on clothing and equipment and look at the model drone. We are very grateful to the soldiers for putting on such an enjoyable event that gave pupils a chance to ask questions about a wide range of roles within the military.

Incorporating career talks into the KS4 curriculum supports students' overall development by preparing them for future opportunities and challenges. These talks can play a crucial role in shaping well-rounded, informed, and ambitious individuals ready to embark on their career journeys.
