Our annual awards evening was a memorable event, hosted by Ms Spivey (Headteacher), Mrs Brown (Head of Achievement for Year 11 - 2023/24) and Mr Cufley (Chair of Governors).  The event took place on Thursday, 21 November, as we gathered to celebrate the achievements of our 2024 leavers.

Opening the Celebrations

The evening commenced with a fantastic piano rendition by Maya Turner. Maya played the theme from the film Titantic (James Horner) which set the tone for a night of celebration and recognition. Winners were then presented with an impressive array of awards and certificates, generously sponsored by a variety of local organisations.

Honouring Distinguished Service

We were also thrilled to honour five former Springfield colleagues who have provided distinguished service over the years. Their dedication and commitment have left a lasting impact on our community.

Inspiring Words from Our Guest of Honour

Our Guest of Honour Amanda Martin, MP for Portsmouth North and former Springfield Governor delivered an inspiring speech to our 2024 leavers, sharing her experiences as well as offering words of encouragement for their futures.  Amanda spoke to leavers about forcing their own path (finding something that excites them), laughing when things go wrong and keeping their community close.

Reflections from the Senior Prefect Team

Adding to the celebrations, some of our 2024 Senior Prefect Team shared an upbeat speech reflecting on their time at Springfield. They reminisced about their experiences, bringing smiles and laughter to the audience.

Gratitude and Thanks

A special thank you to Amanda Martin for joining our celebrations and inspiring us with her words. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors for their generous support, which made this event possible.

Together, we celebrated the past, present, and future achievements of our Springfield community.
