Thank you to the families who came along to Thurday's Open Evening. The event was extremely well attended and we were proud to showcase our wonderful pupils, facilities and the many opportunities offered at Springfield. Visitors got a real taste of Springfield, including an interactive 'murder mystery' in drama, musical performances, sports demonstrations and exciting science experiments. Caterlink were also on hand to give out samples of the food offered at Springfield's canteen. Visitors were able to view a huge variety of work on display in each of our subject departments. Our helpful Prefects and Tutor Group Assistants gave guided tours of the school through each subject area. Thank you to all the pupils and staff involved - you did a fantastic job!
For those of you who took part in the drama murder mystery - did you manage to work out who the murderer was? We can now reveal that the murderer was Joanne Bainbridge! The senario is as follows: Joanne caught her dad, Martin, and Adanna kissing behind the cafe. She took a photo on her phone camera. The next day, Joanne confronted Adanna with the evidence while she was up the ladder hanging bunting for the BBQ the next day. When she laughed it off, Joanne pushed the ladder. Adanna fell and banged her head. Joanne panicked and moved some furniture to hide the body before going back to her hotel room to delete the pictures she had taken.
