Football might not have officially 'come home' this year, but it did go to Solent Junior School on Tuesday, 25 June. A talented young squad of Year 7 pupils (as well as Ms Holbrook) travelled away to teach three Year 6 classes some German greetings. As the Euros took place in Germany this year, the sessions were themed around the Euros and the Year 7s used their language skills to help to facilitate everything from a penalty shoot out to using red and yellow cards to 'send off' incorrect answers. All in all, the sessions were a real success - the hosts were able to use greeting phrases by the end of each session and all pupils had lots of fun.
