Some of our Year 7 students took part in the UK Maths Trust's Junior Maths Challenge.  This 60 minute, 25 multiple choice challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency.  Students answered questions that combine logical thinking, problem solving and maths knowledge.  Everyone worked really hard and encounted some challenging questions.  Should below is an example of one of the questions:
