Year 11 leavers have enjoyed a week of engaging sessions at Springfield Sixth Form Week. Year 11 students signed up to classes in a range of subjects including anthropology, creative drawing, criminology, psychology and driving experience with ADA to name but a few. The programme was put together to develop students' understanding of higher education, careers opportunities and enhance valuable life skills as they progress after leaving school.  Thank you to all the teachers who gave up their time to run the sessions and to ADA for fitting in all the students who attended this popular session!

Sixth Form Week culmulated with a leavers event on Thursday, 27 June when students celebrated during an upbeat assembly reminiscing about their time at school over the last five years.  Mrs Brown, Head of Achievement for Year 11 hosted the assembly handing out special awards, the obligatory then (Year 7) and now (Year 11) photos of students and much more.  Students also enjoyed top musical performances from the talented Rosie Hollins, Albie Porter and Brooke Williams.   Students then enjoyed a delicious barbeque thanks to our catering team as well as soft drinks, sweets and ice creams when they signed their school shirts.

We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours!
