Please find below details of the Moving Forward event for adults and young people with SEND or a learning disability:

There's not long to go until Moving Forward! Adults and young people with SEND or a learning disability are invited to this free education, employment, health, and community support information event on Tuesday 19 March 2024.

Young people aged 14-24, along with their parents and carers, are invited to find out about opportunities available as they transition to adulthood. Information will be available on employability, health, independent living and community inclusion. Adults, carers and professionals are invited to find out more about services in Portsmouth for people with a learning disability.

The event will also include two workshops:

• Employment routes - designed for parents and young people and will focus on supported internships, inclusive apprenticeships, and access to work.
• Red Sauce Theatre open rehearsal - an opportunity to see how the theatre group works and meet the cast of 'D Day on our doorstep'.

There's no need to book - just drop-in to the Victory Suite, Fratton Park, on Tuesday 19 March 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
