On Wednesday, 28 February Year 8 pupils visited the University of Portsmouth to take part in a taster day. Pupils attended three sessions focusing on textiles and design, forensic linguistics and a visit to the operating theatre.
The aim was to give pupils an insight into university life, and to support them to make an informed decision when they choose their options and the pathways they may wish to take after school.
