Year 9 students enjoyed an engaging but challenging 'enterprise' session with UNLOC in association with The City of Portsmouth College on Thursday, 25 January 2024. In groups of eight, students were tasked with generating a design for a new shoe.  Students worked together as a team allocating roles in  finance and profitability which culminated in a pitch to their peers and an overall winning idea. Students put forward some great ideas for shoes in the future! UNLOC also presented to the students a session about gambling. Some students were surprised at the things that could be considered gambling and just how easy it might be to get addicted. They were also given details of where they could get help for themselves or others.
