Springfield students are enthused by inspirational masterclasses in science education.  Students' horizons are broadened when they engage with outside organisations.  This is an important part of students' career development and allows them to expand their skill sets.  That is why we were delighted to welcome the National Space Academy to school on 14 November 2023.  They ran inspirational and interactive science lessons for our Year 10 and 11 students.  The lessons focused on physics particularly relating to space.  The National Space Academy delivers masterclass programmes in science education for students and teachers across the UK for the European Space Agency (ESA).
