Year 9q Food Preparation and Nutrition students were tasked with researching and deciding on a pasta dish to cook in their lesson today.  They were asked to use ten ingredients from a list I produced before the class. The students made the fresh pasta during their previous lesson which was chilled until the class today.  They then used a pasta machine to roll it out into tagliatelle. 

The cooking time given was 25 minutes and their dishes needed to be presented for the judging at the end of the lesson. All the students were on point with the dishes they prepared and the timings.  They worked really well.
