On Thursday 1st February 2018 twenty five of our Year 8 pupils spent the day at Portsmouth Guildhall at an event called 'Get Inspired Portsmouth'. The event was organised by EBP South and the aim was to inspire and open pupils' eyes to possible future career opportunities in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. The pupils really enjoyed themselves, taking part in many hands on activities provided by local colleges and employers. In the afternoon they were honoured to receive a personal tour led by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth (Councillor Ellcombe) of the Council Chamber and the second largest silver collection in England which is housed in the Guildhall. Thank you to everyone involved in organising and hosting this event.
