We were delighted to welcome a huge array of guests to school to support our Year 10 pupils on a careers themed focus day. Sessions were varied and included presentation skills, personal branding from a company called CragRats, stress busting and risk taking. This was enriched by mock interviews with a large number of local business professionals in support. A great step forward on their journey to develop employability skills. Next challenges will be post sixteen taster days in June, work experience in July and lots of local open evenings from now on. The aim is for all pupils to know where they intend to go and what they intend to do by February 2019. Parents will now be thinking where has the time gone. As per the modern art sculpture in the school quad, the world is your oyster!  Thank you to IBM, CragRats, The Girls' Network, Manpower, The Civil Service, BAE, Queensbury Shelters and Springfield Governors for giving up your time to visit us today.
