Sports Day 2018

We were delighted to hold our first inter-house Sports Day on Wednesday 11th July 2018. Ayrton, Constantine, Franklin, Moore and Woolf all competed against each other in track events including 100m, 200m, 800m, mini marathon and relays. Tutor groups worked hard over the last week preparing flags and torches with a continent being assigned to each house (each tutor group then represented a country from their house continent). Pupils paraded onto the school field to some fantastic tunes provided by some of our music pupils. Field events took place over the past weeks and during Sports Day we focused on the track races. Well done to all the medal winners. A huge congratulations to Poppy Savory (9N), who won the ‘Christine Wilson Sports Day Trophy’ for a great overall performance and to Ayrton who not only won Sports Day but also were overall house winners for the year!
