Last academic year we rescued a number of lost/poorly hedgehogs that had inadvertently wandered onto the school site.  We called upon local resident Sally Wells, who rescues hedgehogs in her spare time.  We are delighted that Sally has been in contact with us to let us know of their progress. One of the hedgehogs went to Brent Lodge Wildlife Sanctuary as it had respiratory difficulties and we hope to have a further update soon. The other hedgehogs that were rescued from the school (as found in the sports net/pond), were released as adults in the New Forest.  They started off being 'slow released' in the pen but after a few days were released into the paddock next to the pen -  they are both are doing very well.  Thank you to Sally for supporting us and for all the work she does rehabilitating lost and poorly hedgehogs.
