Our Year 8 pupils were treated to some expertise from Dementia Friends in their PDL lessons on Monday 15th October. Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition. The pupils were engaged and provided some thought provoking ideas.
