Those pupils who enjoy creative writing, entered the 'Portsmouth News Christmas ghost story competition' this December.  Pupils were challenged to write no more than 1,000 words in length, a ghost story with a Christmas theme. I passed the entries to the Portsmouth News at the beginning of December, I was delighted to hear back from Mark Waldron, Editor in Chief who commented ‘thank you very much for choosing our ghost story competition as a homework project - I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the entries last night. So many different themes and styles. Brilliant!! It would be appreciated if you could pass on my thanks to all the pupils who took part.’
